WELCOME AND THANK YOU for taking the time to look around our site there are many things going on here at Claddagh Pastures.  We are breeders of Puddin/Shortie Jack Russell Terriers & Nigerian Dwarf Goats.  We no long breed Great Danes.  We offer Pet/Farm Sitting Services & having over 20 years in the Equine Business of training, breeding and showing, 

It may sound like a cliché however I have had Great Danes my entire adult life and I cannot imagine my life without one, unfortunately I had to make the decision to not continue my Great Dane breeding program.  Always, I have wanted to be able to continue the breed as it should be bred, with strong healthy bones, no eye or thyroid issues, the square conformation that the breed is known for, as well as the laid-back attitudes and temperament that makes a Great Dane … well GREAT!  

My love of Puddin Jack Russell Terriers comes from being around them my entire life as if you have horses or a barn there is always a Jack Russell in sight.  Their fun loving personalities, HUGE hearts and quick, smart minds, along with their undying loyalty make them an outstanding breed for families and singles alike.  Their way of adapting to any situation to please owners and go with their surroundings make them such unique little dogs, its hard to believe that it is all packed into a 14 to 25 pound body about a foot off the floor.  You can not help but fall in love with these little packages with HUGE personalities.  There was no hope for me and I knew someday I wanted to preserve the breeds standard, temperament and confirmation. 

My husband Paul, and I (Kim) are both New Jersey born and raised, but spent 21 years of our lives in Connecticut.  Over the years my parents and family moved here to Central Texas.  Our daughter graduated from High School and went into the United States Coast Guard, once she graduated boot camp she was stationed on South Padre Island, TX and that was it for us.  We said good bye to the cold and snow and re-located to Texas, finally settling in this sleepy little town on the edge of Texas Hill Country.  My dream of over 20 years to have land, raise horses, Nigerian Dwarf Goats and breed my beloved Great Danes and Puddin Jacks is about to come true. 

Claddagh Pastures began as a dream in 1994.  Breeding Great Danes and Puddin Jacks was a star on my horizon, finally becoming established in 2016 striving to produce quality Great Danes and Puddin Jack Russells focusing on health, temperament, conformation, and structural soundness.  Our pups are curious, playful with intelligent minds. Loyal and obedient with the ability to adapt to any situation

All our dogs have been and are raised in our home.  Located on 6 open acres our Danes and Jacks have the run of approximately 3 fenced acres. All our fur-babies are well socialized and are regularly seen on walks through our town square and along the riverbank that runs through our town.  Car rides to dog friendly stores and restaurants are a must for our adults, or just a trip to hang their heads out the windows on any given weekend.  

We breed for the standards of the American Kennel Club and the English Jack Russell Terrier Club Alliance striving to maintain the foundations of the Great Dane and Puddin Jack Russells.  Most of our puppies are sold as pet quality and will have limited AKC & EJRTCA Registrations.  All our puppies are sold with a Health & Temperament Guarantee with lifetime breeder support. 

Our Nigerian Dwarf Goats are bred for temperament, soundness and TOTAL CUTENESS OVERLOAD.  They are friendly and family raised, given appropriate vaccinations, hoof, eye, ears and body care. Our kids make great pets, milkers or lawn mowers and are raised with love from the time they are conceived.

Our Nigerian Dwarf Goats are all bred here on our farm and never to any outside bucks.  Our utmost priority is to keep our small herd free of any diseases, keeping them as healthy and happy as we can.  

All our foundation Does are from 2CrazyGoatLadies in Hamilton TX where they were bred and raised with love an care from the day they were born.  We aquired 2 of our newest Does from Dew Drop Farm, where again their breeding program and care are excellent.  With this years first kidding we kept 3 of our own Does finally able to start our own foundation lines here at the farm.  My daughter and I do this together as a labor of love on both our parts and cant wait to see where this adventure of cuteness takes us
